Living the Dream

My interface final from last semester.
Built contact mics, drilled holes through and insterted sewing needles.
The 3 needles move in the melted grooves of the record tearing three tracks apart at the same time.
Thats the noise being blasted through 8 speakers in the orangeuglyturntable.

i made these record player needle/diaphragm components.
they'll be attached to a bigger PVC pipe like the one in the second video and then attached to a hanging sculpture that will harbor a mixer, receiver and speakers.
i plan to further amplify the sound with contact mics in the PVC pipes, hence all the equipment mentioned in the last sentence.
